Looking for a small hall to hire on Monday evenings

Hi there, I am looking for a room/hall to hire in the Churchfield Road area on Monday evenings to hold a regular community dance fitness class (for 10-20 people). I have tried the obvious places without success so just thought I'd ask for suggestions as no doubt I have missed loads of places. Thx in advance for any suggestions!

Hi Samantha. Have you tried Ruskin Hall on Church Road? It has a new sprung floor and wall to wall mirrors. Acton Ballet School use it on Monday until 7.30pm but it may be available after that.

Many thanks for the suggestion. I did call them but they are booked up after the ballet classes as well.

West London Trade Union club on the High Street have a room upstairs. Not sure if/when it is available though.

The George and Dragon lets out its back bar - which has quite a large clearable space - for acting classes on Wednesday. Can't see why it wouldn't suit a dance class another day.What about local schools?

Thanks Sara, will give them a ring. Have tried Derwentwater, but they don't rent out the hall, neither do St Vincent's. East Acton primary may do after Easter so have to wait to hear about that.

Have you tried St. Mary's church hall?  It is used for fitness and similar activities.

Thanks Tony, I was waiting for them to come back to me on this and fingers crossed it now looks as though they have space for me on Monday evenings. Hope to be up and running soon!

Shepherds Cricket Club on Bromyard Avenue. Even better the Acton Vale Social club on Uxbridge Road next to what was Askew Arms, plenty of buses to and from Acton swiftly. Also they have a bar to buy non alco or otherwise afterwards and socialise.

Thanks everyone for all your helpful suggestions - truly appreciated. I have now agreed to rent out St Dunstan's Church hall for my new Zumba class starting in early March!
