Cybersecurity?
Cyberinsecurity?The National Audit Office reports that we do not have enough competent IT and cybersecurity professionals. The government says we need more expertise at all levels, and it will take 20 years to catch up.This depends on knowledge of the underlying systems, not the skills involved in writing spreadsheets, etc. We do not have the resources or sufficient qualified teachers, and we are not providing sufficient training to get more, so there are insufficient students ready to embark on advanced courses. You are not able to pop round to your local library for a course because you are absolutely prohibited from accessing the underlying systems. You need access to sufficient equipment that is not required to be fully operational at all times to learn and practise the required skills, and it can be a great help if others are available to show how things can be done.http://www.chrisbell.org.uk
