Bridge Repair Work Twyford Ave/Noel Rd

Last week a sign appeared by the bridge on Twyford/Noel advising work would commence on 16 Feb for 12 weeks (!!!!!) due to Crossrail.16 Feb has been and gone and still no work has commenced. Does anyone know whats going on? (maybe they are working..but under the bridge)

It's so annoying when that happens. I use that road to get to the Acton Vue and had been intending to avoid it for three weeks. Now there's no way of knowing when it will be passable and when not.

Work is only taking place on the bridge at night from 20.00-8.00. During this time there will temporary traffic lights in place but during the day the road will be back to normal usage.

I drove home that way last night at 11pm and there were no lights/works

Network Rail is only working certain nights dependent on when they can get possession of the tracks. Work took place last weekend and is planned for this weekend too. Yes, that's useful info since I didn't get from the signs that it was only overnight but then it's hard to read one of these as you drive past.
