Did anyone else see the waxwings in Acton this morning. Would like it confirmed thats what they were, a flock of about 25.They left before I could photograph them

Saw them this morning (28the Feb) in Larden Road on a berry tree

That's what they were! I heard them first, then saw their outline - but was really puzzled by the crest as i could only see their outline and not their colourings. Quite a high-pitched call they made. there were about 9 - 11 of them just by the Wasps training ground last week
