Late notice on this one.  Closes 7 March.  Ealing planning portal, application:  P/2012/0139It's a slippery slope allowing people to build houses in their back gardens.

So are you getting the neighbours together to oppose the application?Lobbying the councillors?Submitting on the portal and getting others to do the same?It's all rather hard work but can make a difference with some heavy lifting by a few people.

What happened about this one Rosco? It was last year.Generally, unless things are actually in breach of the plan - and I thought back garden development was - then, if there's no big stink from concerned people - it will be approved.

I only found out about it yesterday (long story, not the council's fault for once!), so haven't had time to see the neighbours.  I have put in a long objection.  If you have a look online the plans are laughable which hopefully means it won't be entertained in the first place.

When we had something similar, we formed a group, someone leafleted all the neighbouring streets and we got some advice from a friendly planning expert and helpful councillor. We put in HUGE numbers of objections and it was refused.
