Field's on Churchfield Road.

I treated the kids and myself at the lovely new Fields today after school. What a attractive addition to that end of the street. I had delicious coffee and red velvet cake and the kids had proper freshly squeezed orange juice and lovely lemon cupcake/cookie. Nice friendly smiley staff especially the lady wearing the I heart Acton badge! We are certainly doing well for coffee and cake now on Churchfield. Not that I'm complaining, I hope they all do well.

I looked in as I was driven past yesterday and it looked nice in there,  would be great if it encourages the rest of that stretch to buck up and improve shop fronts etc to match the other end.

I went past today and it was packed in there - great to see.  They've made it look very inviting from the outside too.I had a FANTASTIC crepe at the Poets Corner creperie place too. Really decent size, hot, quality ingredients and a fair price.

Fabulous; cake and coffee helps my world go round! I shall check this out over the weekend. Churchfield Ave is really evolving. I hope all of the locals get behind these businesses and support then.... I know that our house will be ;)

Have spent a small fortune in Cupcake Avenue already so it is definitely Field's turn next.Bought cupcakes for book group and the three over went down to school with husband - had the ladies in the office eating (cupcakes) out of his hand as a result!

I too had a nice coffee in Field's today.Very clean and the owner was nice and friendly and they give you a loyalty card .

Another vote for Field's! I had a very good, hot cup of coffee in there this morning. So often you find the cappuccino is barely hot, but here it was very good.The staff are friendly and there is plenty of space should you have a buggy.Let's all support our new shops, and help them to succeed.

I went into Fields for the first time the other day too. I'm a coffee lover and the coffee was great, delicious custard tart with a sort of caramel under the custard, friendly and efficient service. My son loved the hot chocolate. Well priced and welcoming - will be my new regular!

In case somebody wonders, I saw the "I heart Acton" badges on cards in The Village Trading Store. Laura has some very nice "I love Acton" cards! We all needs a bit more love in our lives!

Went to Fields today for coffee and croissant. Really liked the decor, the croissant was delicious and the coffee was very, very good. I met the couple running it who are also planning to have BBQs and children's parties in the garden when (if!) the weather starts to improve. A really nice addition to Churchfield Road.

I just wanted to add my comments about this lovely cafe.  I took my children there yesterday. Excellent coffee, hot chocolate & freshly squeezed orange juice. Th children loved the cakes & cookies.  Apparently they are currently bought in from 'Fait Maison', but will be prepared on site in the future.  The owner also mentioned plans for birthday cakes & parties.It's so nice to have this addition at the top end of the road.
