Bombay bistro

Had a lovely meal at the Bombay bistro tonight and cannot understand why it is never busy.The food is amazing and at a reasonable price,they now accept taste card.

So why is it not fuller?I think they do make some of their turnover by contract catering to local private hospitals - at least the owner told me so ages ago.Maybe like some other Acton businesses, the shop front is a nice to have but the real business is contracted and behind-the-scenes or even internet based.

Best Indian food I've ever tasted - it's my default Indian place and I'm heading there tonight.  I've bigged it up on Trip Advisor, "Friended" it on Facebook...don't know what else i can do, but everyone we bring there has agreed that the food is every bit as good as we swear it is.

I agree - what a great restaurant.  They do a roaring takeaway trade (unfortunately the loud phone ringing incessantly can be irritating!) but I love their extensive range of vegetable dishes - beetroot kofta mmmm.

Sloped off there tonight for a chicken jalfrezi (absentee husband not keen on curries)And it was quite busy for them - a table of three just leaving, one good sized vegetarian takeaway order, and three tables of two started during my meal.Their naan is definitely the best in Acton.So I hope that was enough

Haven't tried it - but the plain one was fab tonight and the stuffed with dried fruit/almonds one s also amazing.
