BAD service at Enzo salon today

After reading a lot of bad feedback about Enzo salon I just wanted to know if anyone else has had problems with the salon. I received a hot stone massage voucher for my birthday from a friend for Enzo and went in today to speak to them about possibly booking the treatment and also about hair colour as they currently have a 50% off promotion.I waited a while while the receptionist chatted on the phone and to other staff.  I was taken to a seat and a stylist called Mary came to talk to me about my hair.  I asked her a few times about the price and what it would cost.  She said it would be half price as they have the promotion on.  She worked it all out and said it will cost £72.  This price included a bit of stripper to get some colour out of my hair and then the new colour.I made an appointment for next Friday and left.  I work part time and immediately planned my week next week around having next Friday off.Then a few hours later I get a call from the receptionist at the salon saying the manager just came in and said that I was given the wrong price it will cost more than £72 for the colour.  I could not believe that they could do that.  I am a new customer and they have given me the price and I checked it with the receptionist and stylist twice.I said to her to rather cancel as I feel like I cannot trust them.  Then I left it for ten minutes but thought no this is not right so rang the salon back and asked for the manager.I spoke to a lady called Anna and asked her how they can do this.  She was not apologetic at all and even said to me if it was a week ago that I booked she can understand but because it is today it is fine.  She said the stripping does not fall under colour although it is.  I asked her for her surname and she would not give it to me ( this seems to be something she does a lot as if you search the salon and look at feedback you find a lot of complaints about that)Then when I asked her for the owners details she said no she won't give it to me and they are not in the UK.  I cannot believe that she was so rude and did not want to take responsibility at all.  I have read that she is the owner and just passes the buck like this.  Can anyone shed light on this fact please? I am not happy about this as I feel I booked and discussed this all in length with two staff members.Any comments/feedback will be appreciated.  They seem to do a lot of groupon type deals there as well. I think if this is how they treat local clients I need to bring this to the attention of Groupon.

Is this the Enzo on Uxbridge Rd by Twyford school? If so it used to be a lovely salon when managed by a lady called Beate but then she left and 2 men took over and that's when I stopped going, suddenly all the prices went up and it just wasn't the same. No idea who runs it now but they do seem to have an awful lot of offers on, I'm constantly getting things through my letterbox and by text but have no plans to go back.

I recently had a pedicure there - a voucher for Christmas.  The pedicure was good but certainly not worth the £60 it would have cost and definitely not what I call luxury.  I found it an unfriendly place - the therapist never spoke to me once other than to issue curt instructions.I definitely won't be going back

I have only ever visited once for a cut and blow dry, and I would never go back. As Joanne found, the staff did not speak to me. The girl cutting my hair plonked some hair products on the shelf in front of me - I assume expecting me to purchase them, but as no-one could be bothered to speak to me, I don't know! My hair ended up shorter one side than the other too.I only went because I needed my hair cut, and couldn't get to my usual salon. Never ever going back again!

Yes it is the one on Uxbridge Road.  It sounds like they are after volume with all the Groupon deals.  Quantity not Quality.  I still cannot believe that a manager of a salon would not give a complaining customer her surname or the owners details..... shocking service

Can't comment on the hair services, but have had several massages there which were very good.

Also went there for a hair cut (several years ago now).  Place looked nice from the outside.  Had the same experience as others that no one spoke to me.  The staff spoke Polish to one another over my head.  Wasn't impressed with the hair cut or service.  Never returned.
