Police horses in Acton Park

Yesterday there were two mounted officers in Acton Park.  They were busting street drinkers and skunk smokers then they went down Birkbeck Grove into Southfields.When did this start happening?  (Cheaper than a city farm)

So that is where the street drinkers from The Mount have moved to.What is the Council doing about removing them from the Park I wonder?

Clearly, a galloping horse could outrun an Olympic sprinter, but some of those street drinkers can barely stand up straight.

I do know that the Police do take their horses into parks if they are passing by to have a nibble on the grass and possibly leave their droppings off street. Perhaps they were just passing by?

The mounted officers were about a few months ago on The Mount. I was talking to a local officer at the time. He said two police horses, and their riders helped chase down a perp on Crown street with the neighbourhood team.

Two mounted police officers rode down our road one day last week.  Very exciting for the children and not something you see every day!
