Planning Application -East Churchfield Road

I noticed in today's Gazette the following planning application:-LAND TO THE EAST SIDE OF ACTON RAILWAY STATION EAST CHURCHFIELD ROAD ACTON W3 7LL Construction of a five storey building comprising eighteen residential flats; internal access, parking and cycle parking and refuse storage (following demolition of brickwork walls and partitions)pp/2013/1074Is there enough room there to build flats?

"and often don't have outside space"So they just dump their rubbish on the street?

The plots they build them on often look to small, but they manage it, the size of the flats are usually quite small inside and often don't have outside space.

Looks like this one is going ahead.Approved March 2016 and some recent updates (request for removal of 3 conditions - and looks like council advised the request to be made, including removal of "secured by design")

5 floors high ???Go take a look - this will dominate the area.  Where will car access be at that already very dangerous location.I observed yet another car racing to the barrier just before it came down the other day!

I thought this planning application was asked for and achieved years ago. I suspect it must be that they didn't start the works within five years and are having to renew the application.It seems to me both cramped and noisy - but the developers presumably think they can sell flats on what is now derelict land.
