I realized what actually transpired after seeing the video - I was on the left side and I intended to turn left, but was misdirected at last minute to continue straight by my sat nav. I had not realized it was a bus lane, but once I did, I intended to rejoin my lane, but there were 3 cars blocking me. So I had intended to rejoin immediately after overtaking them, instead of remaining in the bus lane and possibly obstructing the oncoming bus.Wrote an appeal with an explanation, but not really hopeful given I have had appeals for 3 PCNs all overruled in less than 4 months of my first time driving in London, most of which I felt were pretty harsh. guess its just the costs of driving in London :(
