Walpole park play area

Does anyone know what the children's play area in Walpole park is like? Is there enough for a 6 year old to play on to kill a fair bit of time?I know there's lots of other things to do in the park as well. Need to go to town hall tomorrow and quite fancy going to the park after. Thanks

If your child is energetic, I would say no, as it's a tiny space.  But she may have fun walking along the stream, or you could walk up to Lamas Park where I know she'd enjoy their play area!

walk thru walpole and its over the road....then if memory serves me the play area is in the centre

You could have a go on the adult gym equipment in Lammas Park too!
