I believe the site is just to the south of the Euston Main Line to the west of Willesden Juction station. Prevailing winds may blow incinerator fumes more towards Kensal Green the Acton but prevailing winds do not always so oblige! The chimeys proposed are only 25meters high unlike those at power stations etc. There's also the issue of the lorry traffic feeding the waste into the depot (several hundred a week, I believe) on top of those going to Ferrous Fragmentisers etc. The site is in LB of Ealing although very close to both LB of Hammersmith & Fulham and LB of Brent. The term Park Royal has been distorted by LBH&F presumably in the hope of getting regeneration money to wash their way for the area of the Hythe Road and Salter Street industrial estate to the north of the Great Western line from Paddington and the Grand Union Canal (or is it the Grand Junction?).
