All change on Flicker

Flicker have changed the format overnight, I think for the worse.  There is nothing straight forward for sharing photos on the Forum.  Anyone else having problems with the new lay out, or trying to work it out.This pic was Invasion of the mushroom snatchers but, think it should be Confucius he did say...Pic to follow

I agree with you, Nicky, it is worse & I do not like it at all. However bearing in mind that it was always awkward to navigate Flickr and that is neither improved nor worse, I will consider my position. Moreover it is not me, it is my mates who look at my pics so I will see what they think (I suspect the younger ones and my daughter will like it, and the old fogies like me will be unsettled). It might look better on a smart phone. There will be other alternatives in the long run - maybe dropbox, who seem to offer me space every time I use it.

Hate it but then I am an old fogie. It looks like its being made compatible to Windows 8. Microsoft now owning most of Yahoo.http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/flickr-now-offers-1-tb-of-free-space-for-all-behind-a-completely-redesigned-interface-updates/I am off to Photo Bucket. Much easier and neater I think.

Taking for ever to upload a 580Mb video of the new set up and how to put images on the forum.  I give up.Click on upload, (top left corner) work as usual.  To upload to forum, click on picture, look for the box with the arrow, bottom right corner, right click to copy HTML, then work as usual.As for Win 8...stick it, I'll stay with XP Pro., at least it's stable.

May have infringed copyright, with the music, but, it was in the background.  I only uploaded to YouTube as it was faster (580Mb)  Not sure if Flicker can handle that size.  Just happy that the vid was of help.

Thanks to Nikki for the Video on how to upload photos to the forum from FlickerI also had a pdf doc to post on the forum so converted to jpeg and posted all ok

Once you get your head round the new set-up, it's easy.The video is blocked in Germany, don't know if it's Wagner or the Berlin Phil, anyway got a copyright SPIKE, even though the music was in the background and, not linked to the camera or computer...shucks!
