Any gangs or anything suspicious....

Acton Police team called to give me a number to phone should we see any gangs of youths or anything suspicious following yesterday's tragedy.  I've said I'll put this number on the forum although our Police team may post here too, to confirm:Please call 020 8721 2921 if you are concerned or see something suspicious.  Obviously, if it's more urgent, the usual 999 number would be better, I'm sure.

Apparently we had another one - or similar this week.And our little car was broken into as well - no damage and nothing stolen apart from an elderly and non-functioning sat nav.Three cheers for next door neighbours who spottedit, chased him off and alerted us.

Are you all able to say how the break-ins occurred, ie, through broken windows, etc?

Ours was by sliding down by the side of the window and flicking the lock - only works on VERY basic cars apparently - which is why that one and not others in the street.Nothing broken and no damage.

We really do need a CCTV camera at your end of the road to act as a deterrent.  I note the drug dealers are still leaving their sandwich packets and cans near to the walkway over the railway line..........Although I haven't seen them personally for a few months.  Perhaps one sited to view both up to the bridge, along Goldsmith and St. Dunstans?

It's why I regret our neighbour Abu Qatada moving away. While the MI5 camera was on the lamp-post opposite, we had no problems!

He never showed any sign of understanding what was happening or bearing any resentment.Gardening today, we discovered one of his shuttlecocks in the winter jasmine. Should we send it back to Belmarsh?

My understanding is that this person wishes to be returned to Jordan with his family. I wonder if he will receive national insurance benefits when he is back there. Although he did enter this country on a forged passport - so presumably he is presently stateless until such time as he is issued with a Jordanian passport. ... and then his English benefits will cease.All very complicated - but interesting - can anyone clarify?
