Make It Acton

I was looking at the EalingToday site and was curious about the new Make It Ealing campaign. It seems they have introduced a loyalty card (Make It Ealing) which is free to obtain and gives discounts or freebies at participating shops, bars and restaurants. With so many high streets around the UK dying it seems a great idea.How lovely. But what a shame they restrict it to Ealing. What about Acton? We are in the borough of Ealing but as with the Christmas lights we seem to be the poor relation. Acton is overlooked and unloved.Im sure there are many Acton shops and restaurants who would sign up for a similar scheme. But who is out there fighting for Acton on our behalf?

Acton has always been treated as being second best. No idea why!It would surly be a great idea to have an Acton Loyalty Card - maybe the shop owners could approach Ealing Council and see what reaction they get?

The people at the Party shop were getting a shop group together last year - they did a party too - I wonder if they would do it.Or Acton Business Forum if it still existsOr Acton Acton which definitely exists

Having been to Ealing recently and been a bit shocked at how much it changed since I lived more than ten years ago I thought it was Acton that is up and coming and Ealing that is going a bit downhill.
