The Avenue Road Park - Soon to be Built on by Developers

Has anyone else heard about the proposals to build on the Avenue Road Park? Saw the attached on the I love Acton Site." Acton Garden's Master Plan Phase 8 due 2021 which will include building on this park area, albeit reducing the play area quite significantly, now where have I heard that before!Oh yes South Acton Recreation Ground where they also land grabbed one acre of the park for the caulfield housing (Catalyst Phase)".

I think its the one just off Avenue Road with the gates. Left hand side if you were walking towards Acton Town Tube Station.

That's mill hill gardens. You can easily miss the gates between two houses and you walk down a gravel path to a play area arranged with a landscaped garden? How can they just decide to build on that? Surely they can't do that?

Strange as I have always known it as Avenue Road Park! Heard there are plans and saw something on the We Love Acton facebook about it.
