Jehovah's Witness...Grrr

Awoken this morning by one of these Jehovah's Witness pests, constantly ringing the door bell along with small child in tow.  They quickly learnt what it is like to have the front door slammed in their faces.  Did it twice, just to make sure they got the message.If I want to be perverted by a member of a millenarian Christian sect rejecting the supremacy of the State and religious institutions over personal conscience, I would still slam the door in their faces.  When will they learn not to annoy people, especially when they are in bed asleep?

Maybe try potting a sign on the front door 'No Missionaries' it might work! I agree they can be so annoying and usually turn up at the most inconvenient time of day!

Just wish they turn up when I was out.  All their spiel is rubbish.  They do tend to lean towards the Old Testament.Q.  Adam and Eve had two sons, who did they do it with?  Eve was the only woman.A.  ?

Just before 10am, but, I didn't go to bed until 5am.  Also I am still recovering from two back to back hospital admissions last month.

If you ask them not to call again, they will put a note in their book and not return! I asked them not to call, and apart from one occasion they have never called since. The one time they did call, I politely said that they had been asked not to call, and they were very apologetic.

Try telling them you are a "seventh day horizontalist" A rabbi of my acquaintance used that and wasn't bothered again.

Sarah - being seventh day adventist probably wouldn't help.  I was RC convent educated, and they used to call and try to convert the nuns.  A particularly feisty nun, my English teacher, was always sent to sort them out!
