Re: Bees under front door

Just need some advice here. We suspect we might have bees nesting under the front door of our house as we have seen a few lazily drifting about more and more in the past week. I have been looking on-line about how to deal with them and the majority are suggesting that I would need to contact a local beekeeper to remove them as they are obviously useful, unlike wasps! Also nowadays I know they are few and far between so I don't want to destroy them! :( Anyone know who I could contact locally with Bee Knowledge? :)Thanks!

Have you tried posting on W4 as I have vague recollection a few bees keepers in W4 who may be able to offer advice.

There's a bee-keeper in St Dunstans - Angela Malik stocks his honey and would no doubt have his number.Also at the local allotments i believe.

www.ealingbeekeepers.org.uk Fabiola is the beekeeper on Eastbourne avenue. Her house faces the green, and there may be a Honey for sale sign on the door.
