I wonder how many more there are, hidden away? It's a very sad story -I'm not surprised he lived with a single parent (his Dad left and has married several times, it seems). Having said that - he played with fire, be it in his head some kind of fantasy, and what would have happened if this now fanatic had survived, returned back in the UK with his head filled with thoughts of killing, martyrdom and radical thoughts?What are we breeding? Our young need to finding meaning in their life.....seems to me that perhaps living in a high rise block, perhaps with a mother on benefits (?), father absent, perhaps no grounded male role model....this was the breeding ground which led to finding meaning elsewhere.
