89/91 Shakespeare Road planning application

Am I reading this right?Is what they have done here is apply for planning permission with a car stacker knowing that without it they won't meet planning regulations on providing adequate parking.Then - once they have got planning permission, apply for planning permission again to remove the car stacker. This has the effect of a) removing an expensive part of the project and  b) expanding the housing development space.It also stuffs everyone on Shakespeare Road a second time - because there will now be three houses and two flats worth of people all trying to park on the pavement.

They have to know that the car stacker was turned down by a full meeting of the Planning Committee. I do hope that the Planning department indicated that in their advice to the new owners.

If the car stacker goes how can it have "associated parking"? ND it's a bad idea for it to stay.It's just a blatant attempt at over-development.Is it still Freeds trying it on or have they sold it on?

My reading of this is that it is still Freeds (although I say that with a bit of caution)All the same - the whole thing still stinks.

It seems the property now belongs to Bluejay property Development ltd.....'development and sale of real estate'.Looking at the application, it seems to me that they want the permission for the lift and door to be removed which of course means no stacker at all (unless i read it wrong).Thinking back, I seem to recall that Freeds had been promised on-street parking in return for removal of the stacker idea......As I have said before, these properties are very small and I truly don't believe they will be for the selling market but for rental/social housing.....

Is that Freeds by another name and without the debts or a completely separate outfit?Anyone in Shakespeare Road going to lead on this one?The intention of these repeated applications is that local residents will get bored before the developer and eventually just let it happen. Is that what's likely here?
