Summer holiday play scheme recommendations needed

Hi, I'm looking for summer holiday play scheme recommendations for my 6 year old.  Something that's good, where the supervision is good but doesn't cost the earth! Close to Acton Central area or 1 bus away. I'm looking for somewhere she can go for a couple of days a week while off school as I have to work. Please only reply if you have personal experience & can recommend somewhere-it just saves time. Thanks

'Fit for sport' are a lovely play scheme.Our experience was of a lovely playful atmosphere and great motivated and caring staff. ( I last used them 3 years ago)There are structured activities as well as plenty of play, which is when children develop creativity.You can go for a week, just a one off day or once or twice a week. very flexible.They mostly run out of schools, St Vincent or Belmont are 2 we used.My son has now outgrown them but It was a great scheme for younger children up to about 7 I would think.

Twyford Sport Centre runs programmes.  Join for the day or for the week. Doesn't cost the earth, very well run.Alternatively, Chiswick Courses are great, but the programmes run from M-Th and are fairly expensive.

What about Apple in the park - particularly suitable for you surely?

Apple are a wonderful place but I don't think they cater for unaccompanied children under 8. Check it out though. we have used it for after school activities and found them excellent.

Thanks everyone. I've looked into Fit for Sport. I know they run summer camps at her school so I will probably do that for a couple of days a week. Apple is for over 8s. Kim is correct. She needs a bit of 'steering' and guidance. So fit for sport seems perfect.
