Hanson Cement Plant, Horn Lane Ind Est - Operating Sat aft and Sunday

Hansons obviously have some sort of special privileges which give them dispensation to operate their plant after 1 pm on a Saturday (& up till 4pm+) and on a Sunday (started before 9 am this morning, and still operating as at midday Sunday).Like many of the firms within the Horn Lane Industrial Estate, they work whenever they like, regardless of the rules that the mortals have to abide by.Local residents have to put up with the filth and noise all during the working week, and weekends too.Yet another clear indication of the arrogance and contempt these firms have for Regulations and our weak, gutless Ealing Council when it comes to Enforcement.

Another example of Hanson's "dispensation".Try erecting an extension or similar on your house which falls slightly outside the Planning Regulations and see how long before the Planning Department/Enforcement pounces on you.
