The duty officer will aim to contact you to give advice, and may make arrangements to visit you at home to assess the nuisance. If appropriate, action will be taken immediately, but if back-up and specialist equipment are not available and/or the incident is of a less serious nature, action may be held over until the next working day. Your complaint will initially be taken and logged. If a nuisance officer is available, you will be put in direct contact with them, otherwise you will be contacted within three working days. The officer dealing with your complaint will advise you of the action to be taken. If the nuisance is occurring at the time of your call, he/she will endeavour to arrange a visit to assess the nuisance
