Noise Avenue Road/Mill Hill Road

Last night continuing until well after 12pm some inconsiderate anti social yobs decided to play loud live music on a Monday night, the kids couldn't sleep and this isn't just a one off it happens nearly every week. I can't identify where the music is coming from, any one know? I want to make a full and thorough complaint to the Council, these inconsiderate selfish people can't be allowed to get away with it, and their music is rubbish.

I think the only way is to get out of bed and wander the streets until you can locate it to report. Noise bounces around the buildings and can make it difficult to pinpoint the source. One weekend I was sure it was a neighbouring house having a party (until 4am) but when I went out into the garden discovered it was coming all the way from a tower block on the South Acton estate! I always lie there thinking a nearer neighbour will complain to the authorities, but some people seem very tolerant, or lazy, or perhaps are already attending the party themselves...

Hi GaryIf its coming from a garden that belongs to a house on Gunnersbury Lane, then i know which house number it is likely to be as i have made serveral complaints. My flat (Avenue Road) backs on to their gardens and i assume you live in Mill Hill Road? I am always surprised that some people just let them and others get away with this inconsiderate bevariour, time after time. Please advise as i would be happy to help.

Hi Carmen, Poor you having to live next door to it! It must be hell  as I live at the south Acton estate end of mill hill road! What has the council done in relation to your complaints, obviously very little? Regards Gary

Hi Gary,Oh i see, you live at the other end. Well i called the out of hours Noise and Nuisance line at Ealing Council. Once they did come out, and they managed to witness the noise from my flat. They went straight over and had words, and eventually they stopped. They also sent them a letter and sent me a copy too. You have to keep a log of it, but also try and call them out to witness it at the time its happening. I know this can be hard as sometimes they cant get to you in time, however if you know the property details they will write to them. I feel for you as ive lived with it on and off for years.Good luck.

Explain that you will be sending both a summary of what has happened so far by email and all previous email correspondence, and that you have their personal emails to hand in order to do so.
