much loved cat missing

Our adored grey and white moggy has gone missing. He's chipped and was wearing a blue collar with name badge.He's called Frankie,  and is incredibly friendly.  He may look a bit scruffy because he loves rolling in the dust..He lives in the Grove Road area, and hasn't been seen for a couple of days, which is totally out of character. Please please keep a look out. Any cat lover will know how we are feeling. Many thanks

Victoria - have you done all the usual things - notices, phoning local vets, Cats Protection Lost and Found - 020 8423 1403.  Also well worth checking with neighbours - at this time of the year people may have gone away and he's got into a shed or garage.Hope you find him - know how you feel.

This morning in Acton park there  was a grey cat by the 'Wolf Enclosure'. I judged it to be a juvenile by it's size, not very big, slender and short haired. I have seen the same cat before in the northern part of the park.I cannot approach as I am usually with a dog when I am in the park.

Perhaps put up some posters with his pic on local lampposts, very few people appear to look at this website, from the dearth of posts it gets.

I hope you find your cat. Maybe he's got locked into a shed or somesuch? Mine went missing a while ago and had managed to get locked into an empty flat next door. Luckily a neighbour heard him mewing pitifully and rescued him!On the forum, I think a lot more people read posts than post themselves, so its always worth a try.

You could try sending a pic and some details of where this cat went missing to the site's editor, they have posted stories on the front page before about missing pets:editor@ActonW3.com

We've found him!Thank you all for your messages, we put leaflets and posters everywhere and had lots of sightings.He'd wandered into a house, out the back door, and got stuck the other side of a row of terraces....very confused. .We're so thrilled and relieved, and really touched by the response from people on here and those who got our leaflets. Thank you!

Marvellous news!  Made my day - as a besotted cat owner I know how much we treasure them.  Might be worth taking him to have a vet check, just in case he got fleas or any other nasties.  Give him an extra cuddle from me.
