Pure Gym opening in Acton

Ive never heard of them but it seems they are letting the ground floor units under the new flats (what was Acton Bus Garage). Ive checked the internet and seems they had several gyms across the south east so hopefully they will be a welcome addition to Acton (better than empty shops/betting shops)

I'm really looking forward to this, as the prices seem reasonable too.However, living in the block directly above, i'm not sure how its 24 hour open operating hours is going to affect the peace and quiet of the area. also unsure if it will affect the current parking as north china already has regular customers such that residents cannot find parking sometimes.just checked - its due to open in october by the way for those interested.

And there's going to be a large shiny one in the town hall development. Yet the Oaks developers say there is still an appetite for re-invigorating the old Fitness First site which is one of several reasons they give for not doing a proper redevelopment of the site through to the High Street.

Kiss Gym, discreetly hidden on Uxbridge Road by the bottom of the park is excellent and terms are on rolling monthly contract so you can cancel it any time.  It's very good, but nobody seems to know it's there!

Will Pure have a pool? I don't think there's space is there? I'd be there like a shot if they do.

No pool. It's very no frills...just your basic gym equipment to keep costs low.

Shame...we're inundated with gyms, Reynolds, energise, kiss, fitness first and now pure within short walking distance of each other when what we really need is a pool. Better than betting and mobile phone shops but seriously how many gyms can such a small area sustain?

I think the only ones with pools are Virgin and The Park Club. And membership fees to match.And its still a bit of a wait till the Acton Town Hall pools are open again.

What about Janet Adegokes swimming pool in Blomfontein Road, White City? £3:90 to use.
