missing black cat

Dear All,Our beloved black cat Megan has been missing since Thursday 1st August last week.She is completely black, very petite, shy but very inquisitive. She is ingenious at getting through doors when she wants to see what's on the other side (I won't have believed it if I hadn't see her doing it).Please could you check your sheds in case she has gone in and can't get out.I am not sure how to post a photo of her on this site, please get in touch if you've seen her, she is much missed in our household.thank youSarah

Sarah - have you done all the usual things - posters put up, vets phoned, Cats Protection Lost and Found helpline - 020 8423 1403?  A shed or garage is probably where she has gone.  Also if she is microchipped make sure that people know this.

I saw the poster for Megan outside my house in Goldsmith Road last night. I too have a black cat, a very large black male called Boris - and we're both keeping an eye out for Megan.Carl

Dear All,thank you very much for your messages, we heard last night from a neighbour on Cumberland Park which backs onto our garden that he saw a cat attacked by a mother fox and 2 cubs last Friday morning. This now seems the most likely explanation of what has happened, although it is awful. So we are mourning our lovely little cat Megan and treasuring her sister Maggie who is still at home with us.thank you for all your support, Sarah
