Missing Cat

Dear All, My grey moggy cat has been missing for over a day. His name is Presley and he was wearing a patterned collar with a bell. He is approx. 5 years in age and a fairly large cat. He never stays out over night and has not been seen since 10th August. He lives on Alfred Road so could be in any surrounding streets. If you have any information please let me know...I am willing to pay a reward, I just want my beloved cat to come home. Contact 07894 401 865

Nicola - have you done all the usual things - notices, vets phoned (know this is difficult because it's Sunday) Cats Protection Lost and Found line phoned - 0208423 1403.  He's probably got himself comfortably locked in somewhere - speak to neighbours who have sheds or garages.  Hope he comes back safe and sound.

Thank you Nina, I have posted notices and am speaking to neighbours. Very difficult as it is Sunday but I have been calling emergency no's for vets. He is microchipped. I am just so worried as he is never gone for longer than a few hours. Thank you for your response.

Hate to worry you unduly but one of our neighbours was very worried about her little cat, and now thinks that foxes may have killed her. I didn't know urban foxes did that. It was miserable news - she had done all the right things and got everyone searching - but someone saw the foxes doing unspeakable things...Hate to bring gloom, but it was really upsetting for the family - who were unprepared.

Sarah- I'm afraid it's more common than people and fox loving groups in would like to admit.Mainly very young,very old or sick cats are more likely to be victims.Of course,all cats should be kept in at night,although foxes are no longer the timid beasts they were,and are just as likely to be seen during the day. Not helped by the number of people who misguidedly put out food for them.

Nicola - great news.  So glad that he is back home none the worse for his adventure.  Do you think he was shut in somewhere?  I'm sure you'll fgive him an extra cuddle.

Thank you. I am unsure where he was, he was very scared as he is never out at night but seems fine this morning. I am just glad that he is back safe and sound and has no future adventures!
