Red light in sky

Can anyone else see the red light in the sky tonight? Bright red, fixed, not glowing or moving, too high to be a building, been there too long to be a helicopter - in the west, sort of towards Asda...? Ideas anyone...??

At night, and sometimes during the day, in fog for instance, cranes can be hazard to helicopters.The police helicopter and air ambulance never know where, when or why they might be required to land.  Any helicopter forced to make an emergency landing, knowing there's a crane in the vicinity could make all the difference.
