Churchfield rd closure

Just saw sign on way to shops. Churchfield rd will be closed all of next weekend 23-25th between Perryn Road and Goldsmith Avenue-the level crossing for electric cable work to take place. Not sure if pedestrians will be able to cross. I hope so cos I detest using the footbridge!

Not many people seem to realise. Cars still waiting, drivers seem oblivious. Access for pedestrians is only on station side of road.

I saw the signs at the park end of Churchfield tonight and quickly diverted down to the High St. But that was a real mess due so many cars parked on both sides making it difficult for buses to get through.Later I had to get to Ealing and went via Queens Drive and Madely Rd. Both had signs saying Road Closed and Access Only but I had no problem getting through. No roadworks and no traffic due to the signs.
