Acton on the new series of LLL at the mo....

I saw Kirstie on our road ages ago with a film crew. Didn't realise there was a new series of LLL coming up. As always no sign of the scrumptious Phil.

Where is that street on 'Acton/Chiswick borders'?Is that down near Newton Avenue?

Fletcher Road I think - yes, near Newton Ave but the others use of the bridge.

Surprised not more comments about this,  I loved the bit when she was shown somewhere on the Acton/Chiswick borders and said uummmm Chiswick not really one of my favourite places but I will be open minded,  and wanted Acton!  HurrahAlthough the development on Churchfield Rd does it include a cinema!?  I think not.

They originally said they wanted the Bush, which I'd have thought to be cheaper than Acton, let alone Chiswick.

Shepherds Bush is more expensive than Acton for what you get: the floor plans tend to be smaller and more space means another floor - and very few gardens. But it's closer to town....And no, a cinema is not mentioned for the Oaks - but there's Glynne's art centre plan- though would be surprised if LLL had heard of it

Their search area was Shepherds Bush,  Acton and Ealing.  Never got shown anything in Ealing.  I agree with Sara Shepherds Bush more expensive because nearer central London,  had a friend who lived in a shoe box of a flat which was not cheap.What is the Glynn's Art Centre plan.  But naughty of him to say a cinema methinks.

The flat in question was on Kingswood Road, just south of the South Acton Overgound. So it was in Chiswick, not Acton. Or at least what used to be Acton until the boundary changes.

The third flat was on Cumberland Road,  the second was by St Mary's Burial ground off Churchfield Rd/  Grove Mews I think,  and the first was Acton/Chiswick. Is crazy how much 2 bedroom flats are going for these days.
