can anyone recommend a general builder and

lived in Acton for 11 years but now renting my flat, current tenants are moving out November so decided to leave it un-rented a couple of months while i refurbish it, work needs doing in 4 rooms (hallway, lounge and 2 bedrooms), kind of stuff i need doing is:  - lay laminate flooring  - replace skirting boards  - channel in existing conduit running along walls and ceiling  - skim-plaster walls and ceilingcannot afford to leave the place un-rented for long so time is of the essence, would need someone to start 1st week of November then completed within a month. Any recommendations from people who've had work done would be great.

Do you already have laminate flooring?  Just a warning that it can be noisy and that some flats' leases stipulate that floors should be carpeted...
