Amingos Gone?

Good to see work going on at the old Redback. Hope they make it a huge success (and good luck with getting the red paint off this time).But strangely as life is blown into that side of the street, Amigos (Mexian peri peri) on the other side seems to have shut the shutters.Strange as it always appeared to be busy.Further down, a new Lebanese restaurant opened 2 weeks ago at the old Siam Orchid site next to Tesco Express. Lots of shisha smoking outside then suddenly the shutters were down and its been closed for a week.Anyone know whats going on?

There are strict rules and regulations concerning premises having shisha pipes on the premises.  They are a fire hazard.  So possibly they are sorting this out.  But I have noticed that in other locations there have been problems with this type of café, ie, late night noise problems - so it could be that.As a matter of info, I understand that smoking these pipes is more toxic to the human body that smoking cigarettes!

I don't think Amigos will be going anywhere, any time soon. They have a growing fan base!
