14th Acton Scout group are at the bottom of Stanley gardens.It is a very dynamic group with children from a mix of backgrounds, run by Glenn and Sarah, 07809432231.Cubs 8-10 years old meet on Wednesday evening at 6;30.My son goes there and there have been lots of camps and days out organised.They have a great hut with outside space and have recently been donated an adjacent parcel of land which will be used for scouting activities.There is also a group at the top of Eastbourne avenue but I don't know much about it.I am involved in scouting myself and would recommend you visit the groups to meet the leaders and get a feel for the place.Another tip is that if your children have friends already going to the group or joining at the same time, it will help them get in the swing of it.There can be waiting lists as scouting relies on volunteers and can only expand if new adult leaders get on board. scout.org is the website to find groups in the area. or just google scout groups in W3
