Stolen bikes

At some point since midday Monday 02 Sept, somebody has broken into the bike store in Benjamin House on Acton High Street and stolen 2 Specialized Rockhopper bikes - a white Rockhopper Complete SL and a black Rockhopper SL.  Both bikes were about 2 years old and in excellent condition. If anyone is offered either of them, please contact Ealing Police on 101.  Thanks

Check the local bike shops in Acton and pawn shops in ealing, considering they are quality bikes and more likely to be sold on for cash. Also check with local police and CCTV in the area. Gumtree seems to be used often for stolen bikes, usually if the seller know's next to nothing on bike spec's and the history it's more likely stolen.

Google "Rebecca Horsburgh bike stolen" for a thread (entitled "My pride and joy stolen!") on the W4 site that has some tips on tracking stolen bikes.
