Crossrail works update FYI

Acton Yard Crossrail Works: Information Bulletin(Saturday 7 September 2013 – Friday 27 September)All works highlighted in red are the particularly noisy night works which residents may notice.Saturday 7 September to Friday 13 SeptemberSunday (00.01 – 09.00)Piling for overhead line equipment opposite Oakley Avenue. This involves driving tubular steel piles into the ground and is likely to generate some hammering noise and possible vibration.Monday to Friday (08.00 – 18.00)Piling for diveunder: This involves drilling into the ground to form the foundations for the diveunder structure. The technique used is a continuous drill rather than a hammering process which will reduce noise & vibration to neighbours. Work is taking place to the east and directly beneath Noel Road Bridge.Night-time(23.55 -05.00)Overhead line cable works will take place during week nights along the track. Residents may notice machinery on the trackMonday to Friday (08.00 -18.00)Saturday (08.00 -13.00)Ground surveys on the tracks around Oakley House.(We have been unable to undertake the tunnelling works under the tracks for the new drainage system near Oakley House, due to ground conditions.)September 14 September to Friday 20 SeptemberSunday (00.01 – 09.00)Piling for overhead line equipment.
