Hijacking posts

Would the posters who are interested in having a forum mud slinging/bitching match consider having a separate thread to do so if they have to do their bitching in public.This way only the readers interested in their public spat can follow it.It doesn't seem fair for someone to post a thread which may be of interest to some members, only to see it hijacked by posters with another agenda.

Actually I would rather not have any public spats on our forum,  ChiswickW4 is known for it and it can stay there.  Our forum is friendly and I like it that way.

I know I haven't been on much recently - but I have wholly missed what threads have given rise to this.Are there spats? Maybe I am just inured...

I believe it relates to the Thermomix thread and the dialogue between Nikki and Georgina who regularly spat on W4 but Georgina seems to have come onto W3 looking for a fight with Nikki!!!  And there was me thinking no one from W4 would waste their time we us W3ers!

To clarify as my previous post might imply I blame Georgina.  Let it be said Nikki does all she can to whip Georgina up into a frenzy!!

Do many visit both?I hadn't seen Georgina here before (not that she isn't wholly welcome of course....) but apart from Nicola, is it just Richard and Susan who venture onto both turfs?I haven't posted on CW4 for maybe a year or more. Too beastly abusive for me.

I used to check in on the Chiswick site regularly, but got so fed up with the slanging matches and general attitude that I don't bother now...
