When is the next Acton Central ward meeting?

Time to get our councillors activated over the pollution issues that are slowly, but surely, killing us.  If they won't act, then it's time for the big boot up the dairyaire.  Meetings are minuted, so there will be a record.

Makes utterly no difference whatsoever. The Dear Leader, at a CCA meeting last November, and on record, promised to look into Horn Lane Pollution and report back.We are still waiting.The man is not trustworthy nor reliable. Nor numerous other character traits.Excellent attributes for a Leader, he'll probably get elected again.

I have to say, I'm with Rosco with this. I attended every ward forum for three years and saw virtually nothing achieved.Maybe Grafton one-way. Maybe that would have happened anyhow.And the ghastliness made me a cross, unhappy person for the duration. If you can get the local paper or somesuch there, it might be worth it. Otherwise, makes no difference at all.

Maybe someone from Angie's office would be able to attend. I will try Joy Morrisey, as I'm in contact with her, and she attends the site meetings.  Would be even better if we could get Angie herself.

"Charade" - 3rd Meaning:-A blatant pretence or deception, especially something so full of pretence as to be a travesty.Perhaps "Charade" IS better than "ghastliness"??

The entertainment value of our Conservative MP versus our three Labour councillors might be high. But I am not sure what else it would achieve.

Correct.At least the ratio is about right:-One Conservative MP equals three Labour Ward Councillors, probably six if you count East Acton as well, and even seven if you throw in (literally!) The Dear Leader.
