A recital of 17th and 18th century music
Short notice I know, but if anyone fancies popping along to Holland Park on Sunday afternoon - that's THIS Sunday (29 September)! - to enjoy the talents of The Little Baroque Company*, you're very welcome. And it's absolutely FREE to get in! But the concert IS in aid of Best Beginnings (a small charity working to give every baby in the UK the healthiest start in life), and the Alzheimer's Society, so a contribution to these causes would be very much appreciated. It'll all take place in a private house in Holland Park from 2.50pm onwards, with the music starting at 3.25pm. And there'll be canapés and drinks afterwards. What better way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon!* The Little Baroque Company comprises Eligio Luis Quinteiro from Las Palmas playing Theorbo; Jennifer Morsches from the USA on Baroque Cello; and Helen Kruger from Australia playing Baroque Violin. This trio of historical performers have international standing, and perform and record around the globe. The repertoire will include stunning works by Corelli, Gabrielli, Biber and Kapsperger. So… they can play a bit then...!Please contact sarah@bestbeginnings.org.uk if you would like to attend.
