Excess craft items - who would like them?

I have an excess of craft 'bits and pieces' - card, glitter, paper etc.suitable for collage and model making that I would like to go to a good home.I have tried e-mailing APPLE, but have had no response from either Vicki or Joy, so guess they aren't interested. Any one else interested or know who might be? If not it might have to be put out for recycling, which would be a shame!

Yes Kim, there is a nursery nearby. I just wondered if there were any other places that would be able to use them - especially somewhere that is perhaps 'self-funding'.I will speak to the nursery staff if no-one else comes forward!Thanks.

Amanda, if you have no takers I make cards as a hobby and a friend is also planning to go along to a group of elderly ladies near her home to show them how to make cards.Is it the sort of stuff one could use for that purpose?Please don't worry if it can go to a good home, just wouldn't want to see craft things go to recycling.

Jean, the bits aren't really useful for cards - I too make my own! I have now found a 'home' for them with a charity group for  children to use for collages etc.

No problem Amanda I do have lots of craft stuff  for myself but hate the idea of having to bin something if it can be of use!

If anymore spare craft items become available South Acton Children's Centre would be very happy to have them. They can just be dropped off in reception.

Alternatively, there is a Rainbows/Brownies/Guides group based out of Acton Hill Church (church hall) that would be grateful to receive these items.  PM me and I can advise their opening hours or perhaps collect on their behalf.
