Kings Arms?

Does anyone know what's happened to the King's Arms, on the corner of The Vale and East Acton Lane?  It not only seems to have been stripped bare, but now has a furniture place operating inside it.  It's a lovely old building, and while I've never been in there, it always looked like it was doing well and was an Acton fixture.

That place has gone downhill fast in the past few years. It used to be buzzing on a Friday & Saturday night with the karaoke & disco but now everytime i've gone past there, there has only been a handful of people sitting at the bar - the same old deadbeats that have been going there for years. I'm surprised it stayed open up until now.

The owner was in the cafe opposite Tesco the other week. He was telling cafe owner how much money he had lost-a fair bit. He said it was being turned into flats
