I live on Churchfield Rd and heard it and it was horrendous. I called the police but they didn't come until 15 minutes later despite classing it as urgent. Police then called me and said they couldn't find anyone. It sounded very serious (it chilled me to the bone) and blood-curdling like you said, so be careful at night and don't walk home alone just in case. I have tried to send this message twice, hope it works second time around!! If anyone knows anything, I would like to know if the lady was alright?
