write to the Mayor please!
I've started a new thread on this as it is so important that people e mail the Mayor within the next ten days. Individual e mail please, addressed to mayor@london.gov.uk. One reason why you personally object to the current Oaks proposal. Keep it short,keep it focused on a legimate objection, keep it polite, and keep it unemotional if you can. London needs more housing and Boris's instinct is to leave local Councils to make their own decisions, so the next step will not be easy. Volume of correspondence will matter. If you have friends and neighbours who object, but are not good at e mails, it would be a great kindness to help them write one short e mail. The CCA and other interested parties are also preparing to lobby the Mayor and Eric Pickles, so our machinery is moving, but your personal e mail will count. Quickly though. As David says, the Mayor's office may make their decison by the end of next week.
