Pop up restaurant - next Sat, 2nd Nov
I am doing a pop up restaurant for the public (normally I only cater private events) to raise money for the non for profit organisation, Slow Food London, that helps connect people to the food they are eating. This seasonal feast is on the evening of the 2nd November, and there are 16 tickets available at £27.50 each, with all proceeds going to Slow Food London.I love Acton, and would really love for my supper clubs to become something where local people can get together in the comfort of my home, eat good, British, well produced food, and enjoy a drink or 3! I get all my meat from Wyndham House butchers on Chiswick High Road, who source great free-range produce. The menu for the night is:WELCOME COCKTAIL...STARTER – Beetroot soup with truffle oil and homemade soda bread.MAIN – 24 hour shoulder of Devon free-range pork with special carrots, celeriac and apple coleslaw, and vegetables, with smokey BBQ sauce.PUDDING – Sticky apple and pecan cake with butterscotch sauce.CHEESE – Cheeseboard with pears, chutney and homemade biscuits.I'll be providing soft drinks as well, and guests are encouraged to bring whatever booze they’d like to drink. For tickets or more information please go to my page on the Grub Club website - http://grubclub.com/a-little-lusciousness-a-little-slow-food-lusciousness/604. Tickets are available now for the November event
