I am looking for a local caterer.

Hi I am looking for a reliable local caterer who might be able to do bacon rolls and fishfinger sandwiches (or the alike) for about 120 people for an evening do in Shepherds Bush in December.Would love to hear if anyone has any recommendations.

Were you to change your mind and go for hummous, vine leaves and lamb instead, L'Oriental are great local caterers.

Fields (on Churchfield Road) does catering.  Really good food.  Friends used them to cater & wait at an event, which was a great success.

Many thanks - both of these are in the frame.L'oriental, I know from previous experience is awesome, I am just trying to square my trad British-themed event with Lebanese food.Any other suggestions, gratefully received.

Fields,  their almond slice is delish and frankly may be overtaking the crack cake.  I have had sandwiches there too which were lovely and the man who works there is very friendly  so perhaps they may be able to do a trad British meal.

I think you may be talking about the co owner of Fields. Mary is his wife and is often there as well. She is English.

I don't know if he is the owner - I get the impression he is but have nothing to support that just gut instinct.  Is he Portuguese (spelling?) as he said the almond cake is Portuguese. They often seem very quiet in there though.

Hi I can highly recommend fields on churchfield road they made an amazing Sunday lunch for my daughters birthday as well as the most to die for cream sponge cake. My family and I go there most days the management and staff can never do enough to help you and will cater for most requests the food is very reasonable and delicious whether you are having a sandwich cake or burger. we just love the place and cant recommend it enough

Angela Malik does catering, she doesn't just do Asian food, she's a qualified chef and will do you a mean fish finger sandwich with style!
