Where are the Xmas lights? I was in Windsor on Tuesday night. Their lights are up and are lovely. Last night I was in Covent Garden - again lovely lights and decorations. Where are ours?

They are up in Ealing Broadway, as usual Acton is lagging behind like a Cinderella!

Calm down its only November. I am glad they are not up yet as by 25 Dec there will be no bulbs left working in the lovely Flowers.

We put the Christmas tree and window lights up in the restaurant yesterday. Let's hope the high street follows next week

I lived in Munich Germany for 5 years and enjoyed traditional Bavarian Christmases. We start far too early in this Country!!
Walking back from QPR tonight noticed the Churchfield Road lights on the lamp-posts were up and on.

Also walking back from QPR me and my mate noticed that the Acton Sign on the bridge is no longer lit up in different colours.

Hey Acton has new lights! Instead of the usual ones we've had for years new blue lights with white flickering lights adorn all lampposts . Better than before and a lot better than the ones in chiswick

I think they make a nice change from the previous ones, which I thought looked like daffodils. I don't think they are nicer than the ones in Chiswick, though.

Those new blue lights are prettier than the old yellow ones but when I look at them dead on I feel as though i'm going blind!

Did Ealing Council run out of the lights? There seem to be quite a few of the street lights that are missing them. Wonder if they miscounted the number of lights in the High Street lol.

I did a delivery to chiswick tonight. The same old same old lights were there but not lit yet (think they gave a ceremony on Thursday). I would have thought the council and local shop keepers could come up with something a bit different after more than 10yrs with the same old lights
