Hanson Cement Plant planning application - Decision Deferred

Our Planning Committee are waking up.To be fair, Cllr Kate Crawford spoke well and fully supported local residents on this issue.

The Planning Committee has asked for more specific information from the Planning Dept and/or Hansons on which to base an informed decision at a future Planning Committee date tba.

Can see from my window that Hansons are already flouting the rules already by working on Sundays. Their cement mixers are busy running up and down the site. No rest for our health to recover until Monday's onslaught. Can you ask for an explanation at the next meeting. Cheers

I received this message by email from Hanson about a week ago:"I am informing you that Hanson’s will be supplying concrete outside of our normal working hours on Sunday 1st December to the Crossrail Rail project located at the Acton Dive Under. We have been requested to start supply at 7am until the concrete pour is finished."Once Crossrail works are complete, this sort of thing should cease (when that will be I don't know, but I'll raise at a liaison meeting with Hanson to be held later this week).
