Other than the Oaks Shopping Centre, are there any other plans for updating Churchfield Road?

I was referring to whether there are plans for any other residential or commercial developments. For example, I remember reading in one of these threads that the Oaks is the "first phase". Is there anyu indication of what the "second phase" is? Hopefully it won't be as controversial.I have also seen a number of business premises go up for sale on Churchfield Road. I hope we don't get more nail salons or kebab shops.

The second phase is already owned by the current developers. It's unlikely to be any more conducive to central Acton than the first phase - seeing as all they want is maximum profit and who cares about the surroundings?There are already flower baskets, Doris. right next door - the fitness first and high street shops patch. It abuts the oaks phase one.
I hear rumours that a trendy cafe ( breakfasts and lunch for yummy mummies) near Shepherds Bush are looking at opening a 2nd branch premises on Churchfield - fingers crossed

Not the sort of ones that you linger over the papers on a Sunday morning or nice glass of vino with lunch ... Perhaps cafe was the wrong description.
The northern end of Horn Lane around the junction with Noel Road could do with decent retail establishments - what a sad & sorry "Parade" it currently is ......................
