Oaks Development - 2 weeks for Boris to decide

So we have just had the confirmation from the Mayor's office that the council have finally submitted all of the relevant documentation so the clock is now ticking. It is yet another shabby tactic by the developers and council to hold off for 4 weeks on supplying the paperwork -  thus ensuring that the Mayor's decision will be announced on Dec 18th.. just before Xmas. So if you haven't written to Boris..now is the time to do it. You can find his address along with all the details on why 87% of local residents (according to the Ealing Gazette poll) want a better future for Acton at www.oaksaction.org.uk.

One last push folks. If you have been putting off writing to the Mayor or Waitrose to express your disapproval of the Oaks development, time is running out. Please please send your e mail now. You will find all information you need at www.oaksaction.org.uk  Do you have a neighbour or friend who might need a bit of help with the e mail? Perhaps you can help. And finally, I need some more people to hand out leaflets at the Acton Christmas fair on Saturday. Half an hour of your time would be much appreciated. PM me for a place on the rota.

I think even if you have written to Boris - you could send an update.All the news and views is on the oaksaction website.Plus tweeting @oaksaction and copying in @MayorofLondon a good idea - slinging in @waitrose for good measure.
